The Masimong Foundation has launched a tutoring programme for the students of Tlakula Secondary School and Kenneth Masekela Secondary School in Springs. Through partnering with Mafscience Private Tutoring, we provide Maths and Science tutoring to 32 learners from these two schools with the goal to improve their marks to a minimum of 60% for each subject. These tutoring lessons are conducted three days a week for a period of nine months between February and October. The learners of these tutoring programmes also receive mentors and life coaching lessons, which we hope will equip them with the necessary skills to conquer many of life’s challenges with guidance from their mentors, along with the power of their own resolve.
